MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
THERMOSET INJECTION MOLDING
Ashton Plastic Products utilizes Thermoset plastic resins with an injection process enabling us to successfully convert many high heat and electrical Thermoplastic applications to the Thermoset Process. We have also been successful converting compression and transfer method to the injection process. The injection process give us the capacity to lower costs for our customers through increased productivity. Our Thermoset injection presses range from 75 Ton to 550 Ton, including rotary and shuttle presses. We also specialize in insert molding.
THERMOSET TRANSFER / COMPRESSION MOLDING
Our compression / transfer processes are capable of molding both small and large plastic parts. The compression process is especially beneficial for insert molding, such as cookware knobs and electrical parts where parting line cosmetics are required.
THERMOPLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING
Ashton Plastic Products is very capable of handling your Thermoplastic needs. We have experience molding nylons, polystyrenes, polypropylenes as well as engineered resins. We can mold and match colors as well as insert molding. Our thermoplastic injection presses range from 75 Ton to 550 Ton.
